Good service but limited food selection (it's more like a mountain cottage in that regard). The strudel and coffee were good. Very nice place. We arrived here around 3 pm and we still need to eat lunch. We ate a nice soup with sausage. After lunch we did a little hike to chiesa Di San Valentina it was only 45 minutes. After the hike we had a very nice apero , local white wine (60 cent/glass) and a charcuterie and cheese plate. It’s only open in the weekends until 7 pm Awesome place above Gorica and the Soča river! Amazing out door museum with old Austro Hungarian and Italian trenches, caverns and positions. You can get a guided tour with a very competent and humorous guide on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. You can spend at least a whole day walking the mountain ridge with its stunning view points and historical monuments. Thx for a great day! Incredible Wild Boar Goulash! An absolute hidden gem! The food was incredibly delicious — I never would have expected that from a place so tucked away in nature that you’d hardly guess there was even a kitchen inside. The museum itself exceeded all expectations: it’s beautifully designed, impressively modern, and admission was completely free! The caverns are full of history and atmosphere.
