We just (at 18:50) kissed the front door despite google saying you are open until 20:00 Happy to come back and re-evaluate once it’s possible… Best ever! Cash only place! Where do I even start about this delicious, local bakery? First, and foremost, the service. Delightful, friendly, welcoming, staff at the bakery, make you feel like you’ve lived there your whole life and that everyone knows your name. Second, the kebab. The delicious combination of roasted, sliced meat, and fresh vegetables transports you to another world, as if you are eating at a barbecue in his own backyard. Ironically, that is in fact the case, as he grows the produce at his home, which is next-door, attached to the garden, which you can clearly see. Third, the delicious cream cake. I’ve had this Slovenian dessert in a few different locations throughout the country now, and I can say that this is one of my favorites. Refreshing cream, tasty pastry, base, and a light dusting of confectionery sugar make this delightful after dinner treat as tasty as the cherries of this wonderful region. Last, and certainly not least, the location. It is nothing short of magical, and a picture is worth 1000 words. I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We ate there three times.
