Driving from Slovenia into Italy, the best is on the left side – right on a tricky curve where you’d have to cross the road and stand on a narrow strip at the edge just to get the proper angle. Gre za železniški most, ki prečka reko Sočo in je znan predvsem po tem, da ima največji kamniti lok na svetu med železniškimi mostovi. Njegov lok meri kar 85 metrov, celoten most pa je dolg 219,7 metra. Most so zgradili v času Avstro-Ogrske, odprt pa je bil leta 1906. Njegova gradnja je bila velik izziv, saj je bilo treba premagati močan tok reke Soče in zgraditi trden most iz kamna, ki bi prenesel težo vlakov. V prvi svetovni vojni so ga leta 1916 porušili Avstrijci, da bi preprečili prehod italijanski vojski, a so ga po vojni obnovili. Med drugo svetovno vojno je bil ponovno poškodovan, a so ga po vojni znova popravili in danes še vedno služi svojemu namenu.
