The architecture of this feels like from another planet. From outside it is like a box. But inside the exhibition spaces are stunning. During our many spaces were not open but it was still very special. Entrance was when we visited. Stumbled upon this after our lunch! Feels like a little hidden gem! to enter and lots going on! Would recommend! Was quiet, and not many people whilst we were there. Great contemporary art museum. Like another comment says, I didn't see it mentioned anywhere online. It's and has a wonderful vibe. The exhibits are amazing, and the surrounding area is also nice for a stroll. Great contemporary art museum. I enjoyed visiting this place! The welcome was friendly, the art was thought-provoking, the fits the contemporary brief perfectly. Entry was and there was bag storage too. Open late and walking distance from the centre of Cordoba. Very with some great architectural features and displays. The itself is an illuminated display after dark so worth checking. An architecturally beautiful brutalist in Cordoba. I really enjoyed my experience there. There are sky lights that flood the rooms with natural light while respecting the desired atmosphere for the exhibition. The rooms were also designed in such a way where they were moving walls that transforms the space to its desired size or shape. I had never seen this before in person and I loved the application. It loses one star since there was only one exhibition when I there. Shame. I would recommend the purely to see the building. Hopefully they can fill it with more exhibitions as it has a lot of potential. Awful lot of info to each installation made it become overwhelming. Some pieces tho How is this place not more popular? I was one of three people inside the around midday today. If you don’t you are seriously missing out! It’s free, air-conditioned and has amazing creative and diverse art installations with descriptions written in both Spanish and English. It’s a fantastic place and I recommend that people go and it. If you're a resident, you're probably going to be paying for this well into the future so I recommend giving it a - entrance was and the installations from international artists were enough to be worth the walk from the tourist area - the restaurants on this side of the river were a bonus. Bathrooms located behind the sound installation so a great place to take a break without disturbing other visitors. 🎺 The artwork inside the was overly contemporary. Still, there were a few exibitions. I would say the real star of the show is the building, which was inside and out, and had a very beautiful spacious yard surrounding it. Very nice staff too. Really quiet museum. with bag storage. Strong aircon and really clean. The exhibits are slightly meh 😑 Worth a if you are nearby and have some rest. Perfect indoor activity to shelter from the sun. Some great art and immersive installations. Even though the is large, there isn’t much content inside compared to other art museums I’ve been to. I think this prioritizes giving artists the full scale they need to execute their vision, which is nice. The staff do outnumber visitors and follow you round the exhibits which is really off putting. I absolutely loved this amazing gallery. The architecture of the took my breath away. A collection of visual delights. Short films, sculpture, mixed media art, my favourite, was a docu-short about the airstrike on Mariupol..as part of the Ecolgies of peace exhibit. It moved me more than any news report I've seen. I recommend this gallery highly and suggest you give yourself at least an hour, two preferably to appreciate it fully. It's but I would have happily paid... Incredibly curated and thoughtful, experimental museum. Not everyone will find every piece accessible, but the descriptions in English & Spanish help center all the work beautifully, and it is a splash of modern reflection and art in a city known by most for its ancient history. Several international artists’ works are reflected here, and the themes were timely and universal despite a decades-long span between many of the pieces. Along with admission, definitely a must see alongside the other sights of Cordoba. A hidden gem! Why is it not featured on any of the 'top ten things to do in Cordoba'? A stunning with a world-class selection of exhibits, all beautifully, thoughtfully presented. Pros: entry. A warm welcome from the Front of House staff. Bilingual signs in Spanish and English. lockers for rucksacks/coats. Walking distance from the city centre. Socially engaged, poignant exhibitions which are deep AND accessible. The curator here deserves an award! Cons: it needs a gift shop even a small one - I would have happily bought some souvenirs, especially given the entry. A cafe would also be great, I wanted to stay longer but got hungry - with an on site cafe, I would have taken a snack break and continued exploring. Recommend at least an hour, 2 hours if you want to see everything. Thank you for a gorgeous visit! The is very impressive and has a big variety of and touching art pieces. I don't understand why this is not on any list of "top 5 things to in Cordoba". It's recommended to everyone.
