Well equipped kitchen for your disposition. Big dining room. Comfortable beds and good curtains - I slept well despite white nights. if you want to see northern lights, I highly recommend staying here. I did not only see northern lights, I saw entire 10 mins show of dancing lights. I even saw different colors! It was truly magical. You will have to keep checking again and again, but it’s totally worth it. We literally sat outside the guesthouse in the dark and was waiting for lights to show up. Now about the guesthouse, it wasn’t the best. We booked 3 rooms. One room was not cleaned! Someone used the bathroom before us and it wasn’t clean! Kitchen was also messy and washrooms didn’t have basic toiletries one would expect! But it’s a good guesthouse to chill with friends! I’ve enjoyed the riding and the guest house on multiple trips. Well trained horses, top Quality - Comfortable Tack, comfortable beds, hot showers all in a beautiful location. Highly Recommend. We had an awesome trail ride today! We had very last min change in plans and emailed Hestaland to see if they could squeeze us in and they did same day! The ride was very relaxed and such pretty views. Prior to riding we did some horse brushing and lessons that helped to make sure we were a good match with our horses. All around an awesome experience and would 100% recommend. At the end of our tour there was a beautiful rainbow, we lucked out! It was an adventure that adds another dimension to life. Nothing you could have imagined, and even with being a lifelong horse person, nothing I've ever experienced. The horses and people were all lovely! To top it off, the cook should have earned a Michelin 🌟. Great place to go horseback riding! It was something I really wanted to do on our trip and the team here definitely delivered, our guide was patient and the views were stunning. I went with my family and all of us were beginner riders (read: pretty much never ridden horses before) and were able to have a pleasant ride. My mom’s horse was being stubborn and not very willing to walk so our guide tied its reins to her horse and chatted with my mom the whole ride — guess she got an exclusive tour haha! We went for one hour with a half hour prep/training beforehand. They have you do some small loops indoors to practice getting ahold of controlling the reins. At the furthest point of the ride the guide took a family photo for us and we headed back. Unique room design, lovely style. Very quiet place with beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was good. Lovingly cared for horses, a beautiful location and a patient, knowledgeable guide (Bara). An amazing experience we will never forget.
