A coffee shop dorectly in front of the cathedral, full of locals. Good coffee, perfect location, decent prices. The food, the service, the atmosphere =perfect! Situated off the "busy" road on a small square. Perfect for a quick bite after exploring the island. Lots of local delicacies! Very tasty and nice! Nice place to sit down and enjoy a drink and or food. I can not comment on the food but the drink we had each was nice and refreshing. The size of the drink was not very large so be careful, if you are very thirsty there may be other options to a fruit smoothy. The location was very nice where you could chat and watch people pass by. Only location is good. No waiters but inside are 5 employees. I mean how about to get maybe one outside?! So, I waited and waited for the coffee and change.. terrace is ok. Nothing special I can say about this object. Im living in the neighborhood but today was the last time I made an attempt to buy something: The bar was empty with 2 ladies taking care. They managed to completely ignore me for at least 5 minutes until I gave up Conveniently located with a convivial atmosphere and decent food. Gozo wine is world class and they don't export it so I recommend you try it while you're there. Some decent local beers available as well but the wine is to die for. We had been walking through the high walled narrow backstreets of Victoria in the blazing sun, when out of nowhere it started to pour with rain.We needed cover and decided the San Gorg was the place to have a break under one of their brollies directly in front of the St George Basilica. Drinks were ordered & served immediately with a welcoming and friendly greeting at this excellent Kafe. Perfect place for a drink in the atmospheric square right next to the cathedral!
