The place looked nice but our breakfast here was sadly mediocre. The French toast didn't have enough sugar or milk, which made it way too eggy, almost savory instead of sweet. The coffee also was not that good, and then to take into account that everything was quite expensive. Not worth it! Very friendly staff ☺️ At least one of the waiters spoke English 🥰 We had one omelette sandwich and it was very nice ☺️ The cappuccino was not great, but the hot chocolate, was nice. Was not very thick but was tasty enough. There is also a small store next to it, where you can buy craft beer and many other items. Nice place, would return ☺️ Lovely cafe in clervaux, very good ingredients used and the coffee was perfect!!! Plenty of seating inside and out to fit us and our buggy. Connected to a little shop that has some lovely trinkets. Nice warm atmosphere and it's only a stones throw from clervaux chateau. Nice little bakery too where we picked up a baguette which again was lovely. Worth a visit for a cuppa if your in the town. A very unpleasant experience. We visited this café as a family — my wife and daughter ordered desserts and coffee and sat at a table outside. My son and I bought a kebab to go from a nearby place (as it wasn’t available here) and then joined them. We were calm, quiet, and respectful. Suddenly, a waitress approached and very rudely and publicly told us that “you can’t eat outside food here.” While we understand the policy, the way she said it — loud and confrontational — was completely inappropriate. It could’ve been handled discreetly and politely. We couldn’t help but feel that her attitude was discriminatory, maybe because of how we look or where we’re from. It left us embarrassed and uncomfortable. My son and I ended up standing on the street, eating in front of their tables. A very disappointing and humiliating moment. 👎 We won’t be coming back. I do not recommend this place. It was lovely and big portion of food we ordered. The service is alright too. We don’t experience anything negative. But there are so many flies. They need to clean the place properly. A nice bakery. Nice to sit on the terrace! Staff were nice. Wasps all over the pastries was a tad off-putting, especially when you could see them digging into the pastries. The ones we had (wasp free!) were delicious however :) In my option, the bread (rolls and chocolate au pain) were quite stale. Owner said they were baked this morning, and there are some factors that play a role in this like the moisture levels in the air. My german wasn't good enough to have an actual conversation about it. I hope it is better on other days. Lovely cafe with lots of local options, tasty bites and friendly staff.
