The prices are on the expensive side, especially considering it takes at least 2 hours just to get out of the canal and explore a bit of the open water areas. Very friendly owners who were flexible and provided a perfect solution for our misbooking. We thought we could go down stream on day one and upstream on day two. They recommended against that and arranged a pickup of the canoe for us instead. Thanks so much. We rented 3 kayaks for a 3 days leaving from Ry. We were very happy with the and their reactivity when we discovered that we had to change a kayak because it was too small. We had good advices on the to make and always someone nice on the phone. Ein sehr schönes Gewässer zum Kanufahren! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und konnten gute Tourenvorschläge für 4 Stunden machen (auf englisch). Wir hatten mit 2 Erwachsenen, 3 Kindern und Hund zwei Kanus. Leider hat eins davon etwas Wasser gezogen... Es gibt viele Anlegestellen und das mitgenommene Picknick war gut, denn Gastronomie gibt's an den Anlegestellen nicht! Very nice experience, good quality kanou. Was skeptical in the beginning since things were pretty chaotic in the reception. We had to wait a while for service, and then they didn't have our reservation ready (life jackets and such). Therefore our got a bit delayed. The staff provided us with good instructions and recommendations regarding our trip. We paddled upstream with a fascinating view. The lived up to our expectations and more. The only negative was the weather. Prices were surprisingly low. Would definitely recommend (unless it's windy). Great quick and efficient with the canoe rental. Had a nice full day on the lakes of Silkeborg in a nice alu canoe in very good condition. Life vests are included in the price if needed. However, the boat was constantly coming upwards when going a bit faster due to the low weight in the boat. On top of this we also had to divide our weight, so no sitting next to one another. Due to this hassle, it took us longer then the planned 2 hours to get back. Instead of apologies, we got an extra fee for bringing the boat back later. If possible, find another rental place!
