Se poate lăsa mașina în parcarea de la poalele cetății și se parcurge pe jos un traseu cu peisaje frumoase de circa 45 minute, sau se poate merge cu mașina pe drum până în parcarea de sus de pe deal de unde se ajunge la cetate într-o plimbare de 10 minute pe teren drept. Există și un fast food decent unde se poate mânca. Sau vă puteți lua mâncare fe acasă și să stați într-unul din foișoarele amenajate. Beautiful fortress. You can visit simply by car or motorcycle or by walking. There are places to do grill, chairs to stay and also a playground for children. Worth visiting Great hike if you don’t have a car. The views are spectacular. There is a playground for kids. There are plenty of tables and fire pits for food. There is also a a stand that sells food and drink and a stage for entertainment. It’s a beautiful place to see Easy to get there, there is an asphalt road which gets you 200 m away from the fortress. You have a parking place and than a nice walk to the fortress. Children play ground available, tables and benches to sit and relax. Great view. Small walk away from the parking lot. The walk takes you thru a nice forest. Up there can be very windy, so bring your windbreaker with you. Once you're inside the fortress ruins you'll have a spectacular view of the surroundings and the plain far away. It looks like this is the beginning of the Carpathian mountains. A nice trip to the ruins but also into forests. Spectacular view of the western plain. The path up is steep but the it worths. Near the ruins is a picnic area with a children playground. The road that leads there is ok, some bumps here and there, but I guess you are not going to take your Lamborghini out for a spin there 😁. You can also leave the car along the designated stops and climb by foot. If you want to drive till the end, there is a parking and afterwards you will have to walk about 300 m. The citadel is not complete, there are mostly ruins, but the feeling and the views are incredible. There are some tables to have lunch there, but only if you bring your own, there is nothing to buy from there. Overall, it is an interesting place and if you are around it pays to visit it. Şiria Fortress is an impressive historic site located on a hill near Arad. It's a wonderful place to visit, offering wide and scenic views over the surrounding plains. The hike up is rewarding, and once at the top, you can truly feel the history of the place while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit! Perfect walk and view for the weekend.you can get there by car,there is a parking lot right next to the citadel. Or if you feel like going for a short hike you can leave the car half way to the citadel and go up the hill by foot. Bonus: if you don't stop at the big parking to start the trek to the ruins but drive to the very top where you can't go anymore, on the way back take the other road - at the crossing take left, not right where you came from.
