Staff very We were there for four days in a row for lunch , food , service , choice of carvery or soup and sandwiches The Red Cow Inn is by far the best carvery in Ireland. It's ultra consistent. The is a top-class cut of meat and the gravy is amazing and gluten-free which is a bonus to people who have a gluten or wheat intolerance (Coeliac Disease). On this occasion, I opted for the burger and it was so that I had eaten over half of it before I took pictures that I've shared here for you. Don't hesitate to come here. It's the best all-around carvery in Ireland in my opinion. Well done everyone. Stopped in for some lunch. The sandwich bar was very good, had a very tomato and chicken toastie, all very freah If you come here for carvery food then you ll be very happy. Nice portions, not too expensive and tasty !! However, we came here as it said SteakHouse on the building, and I was craving a nice STEAK, we'll....you won't get that here haha. Nice old-style restaurant pub with two beautiful fish tanks to relax while you're having a pint. Chicken salad was ok and the waitresses were super nice. The Red Cow has been a family favourite location for many years, both for lunch and dinner.  The carvery is the best around.  The roast is top quality and never disappoints.  Excellent quality food at fair prices.  The portions are huge, so be sure to bring your appetite.  I've also visited for dinner a few times, and can highly recommend the sirloin steak and pepper sauce.  Delicious! Parking is charged at €2.50 per hour, up to a maximum of €10 per day.  If you're eating there, the fee is waived (for 3 hours) and they'll stamp your ticket at the till.  There's usually plenty of parking during the week, but it can be busy at weekends. 4 for carvrey on saturday 16 aug 25,ordered 3 roast dinners and 1 steak sandwich ,the was absolutely vile would not eat it fat right tru whole cut on all our plates very disappointed im writing this as i sit at table looking at meat on our plates waiting for a member staff to ask is everything ok normally go to annie mays in Newcastle, sorry i came here . I hosted my baby shower at Red Cow inn and it was fantastic! The space was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I needed to make the day special. Even though I set up everything myself, the venue made it easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend it for anyone planning a celebration! With booking they were very informative and got back to me quickly, i cant recommend them more! Massive choice of food. I have recommended to family & friends Gorgeous food, and was perfect for a function. Even though there was a lot of us, food came out way faster than expected! 10/10 would recommend :) Was there last night for there Xmas show. The Born Identity,Abba tribute, and Dame Scruffy great night band were excellent, drag artist was also super.
