What a speakeasy experience. Despite not having a reservation, as we made an impromptu decision to visit Belgrade, we were seated by the bar after following the instructions on the door. A few items on the menu caught my eye, but if you prefer something different, the bartender can always make you a drink based on your flavor notes. We went with Plummet (really strong) and Vilja Crusta (more refreshing but flavorful), where both hit the spot. We were also served some healthy snacks along with our drinks. The decor was very nostalgic, but there wasn’t any AC in the basement to cool off, so sadly we had to leave after one drink. Big thanks to Milosh for making our night memorable! Very good. The light was green however we had no phone to call the number since we only had data roaming, couldn’t make calls. They’re not on WhatsApp or Instagram as far as I can tell. In a dark alley, Druid is hidden behind a nondescript entrance door, where fortunately, we were let in after following their instructions. Inside, we were greeted by a cozy little bar where you really felt at home. The waiter and bartenders were super friendly, served really cocktails, and occasionally came by with complimentary shots - nice touch. At Druid, taking pictures is not allowed - which I found out after taking mine (WOOPS) - and I actually really like that. People become more present when they put their phones away. The only negative thing I can say about the place is how smoky it was. But this is Serbia - so it’s to be expected. Definitely worth a revisit! 5/6 stars If I could give 6 stars, I would. There were four of us, having a wonderful time together, when we decided we didn’t want to drink anymore after two rounds of cocktails, the waiter kicked us out, saying he had other guests in a half-empty bar.
