Ancient fortress hill and sacred mount of baltic tribes. Stunning views, especially at sunset. Every day at dawn the eternal flame kept at shrine at the bottom is taken to the top of the hill. There is something more than just that in this place. Hard o describe, you have feel yourself. Place full of history, rituals and historic significance. Special experience seeing the eternal fire burn, day and night protected by volunteers. Lovely for walks, I hope to be back for events! Very nice place to see perfect view of surroundings. Also had a lot of mythology and myths going around ( pagan stuff, witches, devil, etc.) The tower nearby contains eternal fire that od keept on burning fur years by volunteers. Really worth to visit if you are around. Patiko Access to the mountain is good. There are parking lots with outdoor toilets on both sides of the mountain. The environment is tidy and maintained. You can climb the hill with a neat wooden staircase. The mountain is surrounded by a trail so you can admire it from all sides.
