Nice stage, very different from others. Reviewed on 30/10/2021. We decided to visit any park on this beautiful Saturday morning somewhere around Saxony and we picked Malerweg Ettape 1. Straight away we were greeted by beautiful scenery and trees. As we were moving along the riverside we spoted and old building who looked like a water mill. Few steps further we saw a statue that was build 50 years ago, it looked so old and it was very well preserved. Although I couldn't read what was on the statue... So sad... So in the end I would highly recommend this park/camping site/park (call it how you want to call it) to visit as you will be mesmerized by this place!!! 👍 It starts a bit outside the center of Pirna, so you either need to walk or take transport for about 5 km. The first part of the trail, called the “Mill Promenade,” is very pleasant; the second part is less interesting, but the ending is beautiful, with a view of Wehlen from above. Stamp: Restaurant Welyn Atmospheric place. I recommend for hiking with the family. Nature is impressive. First stage is around 12km and 4hours. Very nice walk in the forest and you mostly follow the river. An incredible hike with many different scenes and moods, highly recommend!
