Super beautiful during the Indian summer. Such a beautiful place with so many different kinds of plants to see. There are many different paths you can walk along which lead to greenhouses, a little museum with a store,... You can also take a walk over a bridge to "North America", a little part of the garden that's supposed to remind you of the Rocky Mountains. What a gem. The botanical garden isn't huge, but wel documented, with a lot of different paths meandering through it all. Attached to the botanical is a forrest park moving down hill and then another up the other hill, where you'll find a labyrinth and more parkland. All in all deceptively large and well worth spending a few hours and donating a few euro. Nice place with lots of green plans, trees and flowers. It is on the hills of Tharandt and it takes a lot of power to walk around. You have the bridge to the second part, which I didn't reach. I highly recommend visiting this amazing Forstbotanic Garden. So much to explore, very beautiful and quiet at times. Recommended for visit, not far from Dresden. Nice walk trails even for Baby trollers. At the end of the visit you can have a Coffee in the Cantine. Compared to the last time I visited it in 2021 now they installed many nice Benches along the trails. The WC is super clean and also has a baby changing room. It's a beautiful spot for a short loop walk, especially as the leaves are turning colors in the fall. I visited only the newer half of the botanical garden today. Maybe there are other places like this in the World, but at least once you have to take the opportunity visiting one.
