Lovely course. A lot of work been undertaken. Gonna be a cracker when finished. Went to play golf and it didn't disappoint, hotel is 20 minutes from airport and 100 meters from the club house . Hotel was clean , we stayed b&b and eat out at night . The golf course was really good and challenging but playable for the mid handicapper, we will be back 100% recommend Great Pool Area. Entrance fee is only €12. You get access to a big pool, a jet massage area, a jacuzzi as well as a water slide. They have a restaurant as well as a bar. The only bad part is that the parking is very limited. The starters were absolutely delicious, but unfortunately this place has serious problem with understaffing. There was a big event in other salon (i dont know if wedding or something else) and kitchen was clearly not managing to process all orders. It took more than 1 hour for our table to receive main dishes and yet they were incorect (rice with vegetables for 4 people was with meat). Waiting for startea also took a lot of time. So the place is nice, their starters are incredible, but it was so much time wasted by waiting. Beautiful hotel Bonalba and 1 minute walk from golf course. Restaurant on course are Spanish/English speaking language within bar/restaurant and club officials are professional services in English-speaking staff who are friendly in a smile at all times. Hotel Bonalba golf is all so professional run to a high standard of in all services from management to cleaners English/Spanish speaking. ALICANTE is only 20 minutes in taxi with fares from €18-€25 Bonalba hotel 30-40 minutes from airport going by taxi around €50 each way or book online with your holiday. Played here couple of weeks ago while on holiday. Great course, challenging but not difficult so would suit most golfers. Greens were quick but had a lot of pitch marks in them. Also doing improvements on the big body of water between the 6th and 7th so that was empty at the time of playing. Hired clubs from the pro shop for 35euro staff was friendly and helpful as well. Service at the course is superb, especially Ana who sorted out my lost property :) Very nice golfcourse! Been there several times, and will surely return.
