Nice and hot tubs. The facilities were pretty clean. But a word of warning: the floor in the changing is extremely slippery. I almost slipped and fell after coming back from shower. Maybe locals know about this. The floor is polished concrete. I don’t know which genius that this would be a good choice for an right after the shower. Fantastic little swimming pool. There is a 25m with lanes, two hot tubs, a cold water plunge pool, a kiddies and three slides. Being small is a real advantage as parents can easily enjoy the hot tub whilst keeping an eye on kids. A couple of the pools were undergoing maintenance when we were there, which limited the space available, but it was still a great way to relax after the long drive from Vik across the South coast. On the day we visited, it was the 15 year anniversary of the so entry was free! You are required to leave your shoes in the entry and then everyone must shower before entering the area. There is one very large lap with a more shallow for kids, one large heated (35/37 C) shallow (1-2 ft deep) pool, and 2 hot tubs. There were also water slides that were closed when we visited, I’m assuming due to the season. It seemed to be nearly all locals when we were there but it was open and friendly to tourists and it was a great way to spend a few hours for us and our 3 year old. Great community pool. Maybe less known is right next to the facilities there is a public jumping pillow which is like a giant trampoline. You don't need to enter the to go there. These geothermally heated public pools and jumping pillows are common in Iceland, and one of the things we will miss.
