An Inspiring Outdoor Art Adventure Jupiter Artland is a truly magical place — part sculpture park, part immersive outdoor gallery — and absolutely worth a visit! From the moment you step out of the car park, you’re drawn straight into a creative journey. The takes you through woodlands, meadows, and open landscapes, with incredible large-scale artworks and sculptures dotted along the way. Every twist in the path reveals something new and thought-provoking — perfect for families, art lovers, or anyone who enjoys exploring the outdoors. The on-site café and house at the end of the route are a wonderful reward, offering food and drinks in a setting. The only minor challenge is that there are no toilets at the car park, so be prepared for a bit of a before reaching facilities at the café. That said, the layout adds to the sense of adventure — it feels like stepping straight into a creative world the moment you arrive. A fantastic day out, blending art and nature perfectly! recommended. Had day woth my family in this statue park. It takes about 2h to go around and see all of the sculptures and other locations. And you can bring your dog with you. Dog ticket is £7,50 and it must be on lead. There is some animals like sheep, goats,horses..🙂 very good place to come. Jupiter Artland – East Calder A fantastic place for a day out! The woodland walks are full of incredible contemporary art that make every turn a surprise. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for all ages. The café is excellent too, with delicious food and coffee. This rating is based on our first here. This was a fun day out! So many different to look at across the venue. It was also to get our steps in, & have a through woodland whilst looking for the different art pieces. I was also happy to see vegan options on their cafe menu, meaning we could stop for lunch if we wanted. We used our Art Passes to reduce the cost of entry, but even at full price it's worth the visit. I would a day trip out here for almost everyone - the only restrictions that we could see is that some parts of the venue are not easily wheelchair accessible (unless you have an all terrain wheelchair) + some of the have stairs. place to spend an afternoon. paths to explore all the outdoor art and sculpture pieces, indoor exhibitions to enjoy whilst it rains, and a quirky cafe to indulge in some delicious food and drink. I'd booking a session at the Gateway pool so you can outdoor swimming in a stunning piece of art. This was such a fun time! We enjoyed the café and then wandered the many trails throughout the grounds to see the exhibits. Also love the swan lake (!) and the huge collection of wind. Chimes on the island. What an incredible visiting Jupiter Artland. It did help that the weather was incredible too it made everything pop even more than it already does. So many fantastic art exhibits and went to the Cafe Party for lunch prior to going around the grounds. Food was amazing and the service by Abbie was outstanding. She greeted us with such vim and vigour her joy was infectious making the news we had a small wait for a table no issue. Her love of where she works and what she does is so evident. What an asset. She set us up for an amazing visit!!! Can’t this place enough. day out! Spent 5 hours exploring the grounds on a sunny day. However, staff at the food truck were rude and gave very confusing answers to our questions about what food was available. They should really just allow picnics so that families can enjoy a budget friendly meal especially since the two food options are both very expensive and limited in choice. They do not cater for all dietary requirements so stopping customers from taking their own food is pretty ridiculous. I would consider returning again but the food situation has really put us off and the overall seems to be more about making money than creating a place to enjoy art and the outdoors. Note: very inaccessible as there are very uneven surfaces and only a few benches dotted about the place to have a sit down. The road in and out of the estate is extremely uneven and needs urgent attention. I visited two years ago and they have still not fixed the roads! A timeless escape into art and nature Jupiter Artland was one of the most unexpected highlights of my trip to Scotland. I didn’t know quite what to expect, but I ended up feeling completely transported. Each piece blends seamlessly into the landscape, and every turn offers something surprising. I honestly felt like I had stepped into a dream. The whole place has a whimsical, almost magical atmosphere, it reminded me a bit of Alice in Wonderland, without being over the top. The staff were kind, the well-organized, and the ticket price was fair (free parking) similar to what you'd pay for cultural sites elsewhere in Europe. Be advised there is only one toilet location for the entire site, which may require a long to get there. place and we had a day out with the dog, a 5 and 7 year old. Says no picnics on the website, but food available wasn't (not simple enough for the kids or covered and lots of wasps). Lots of people did bring a picnic so I'd doing that. What a wonderfully whacky fun day out! So much to see and such a diverse selection of art installations. We were so lucky with the weather to which helped as it’s mostly outdoors. I did try get a coffee to take away at 2.30 but was told they were no longer doing takeaway. How hard was it to put some coffee in a cup. I saw other people sitting with takeaway cups. Plenty of toilet facilities (shared use) but only at the start area, so if you need to pop back to them keep a note of landmarks or follow the little paths shown on the map leaflet for shortcuts. Experience was slightly spoiled by 'influencers' (previous known as 'vain morons') expecting other visitors to wait until they're happy with one of the thousand photos they've had taken of themselves draped over the exhibitions.
