I've done plenty of camping in my time and this is by no means "roughing it" but, I'm happy to be inside here as I hear the rain on the canvas above my head. Also, there are tons of great outdoor activities to do in the surrounding area. Booked a last-minute in a lodge tent. A little over €100 for 2 nights on a weekend. Tent was very complete, staff was friendly and flexible. The park looks very pretty. It is set in nature and it is nicely decorated. Accommodations are very near each other and playgrounds for kids are spread through the park. So expect noise from kids. Right next to Veluwezoom and close to Hoge Veluwe. Great for hikinh and cycling. Love this place. Nature lovers definetely will love this place too. Out in the wood, surrounded by foreast, cool and breeze in the summer. The tend is clean, rooms are all nice, hot water available and the restaurant provide good food as well. Will come back. I was charged extra 35 euros for an hour early checkin. The time is 15:00 hrs which is too late compared to checkout time which is 8:00. Have never seen anybody charging for early checkin. Upon asking for early they said you’re welcome without informing about the extra charges and was just charged at the end during checkout. This is a very disappointing experience. Please let your customers know before hand that the early comes at this expensive price. People might just choose to on time instead. This is horrible!! I booked a night for a bush pod and had to retract my reservation on a short notice (6 days prior to booking). Unfortunately, I was very disappointment by the flexibility that was offered. It was either leaving the full amount or paying substantial amendment fees on a short deadline. I would urge people to be careful prior to booking on that site for these reasons. I cannot comment on location and the rooms.
