Distance of to the reception from the Parking is a longwalk, but you can ask for transport from and too the reception. I visited Wellness Landgoed De Valkenburg with a friend and it is a luxurious experience in a not very large establishment but it has all you need. We enjoyed treatment- Dornroosje and would recommend it to destress and relax while finding your in between sleep and awake state. We came home relaxed and recharged Great sauna location with beautiful views, very new. Hotel rooms are nice and comfortable. Restaurant is very expensive and the service does not match that price. In the morning at breakfast there was a lot of food waste, even when we said we did not eat certain things (gluten, meat), it was served anyway to be thrown away after. Management, please take care of that, this is 2025. Fantastic sauna. Unfortunately the prices have gone up quite fast. I cannot understand why they chose for a discount coupon with extra costs, twenty euros. That way this coupon feels like a rip-off, eventough it's s lovely sauna overall. Best vacation I have ever had: amazing room, excelent service (best I have experienced in the Netherlands), great facilities and extras. Place really feels isolated of the rest of the world which adds to the quietness and calmness. Nothing is perfect of course, but this came close. For me - not deal-breakers, but possible improvement points: - no easy way to drink water in the facilities; - bad ventilation in the toilet in the room; - some guests were really loud, some were too intimate (usually here not for the hotel), nobody ever corrected them; - service in the restaurant working till 17.00 was worse than the one working till 22.00 Beautiful location with castle, surrounded by old trees. Very nicely located wellness centre, with plenty of different facilities, so the saunas were never busy. The surroundings are beautiful and the food was very nice. A wonderful wellness center. So well designed. The location is magnificent, the facilities are brand new, elegant and confortable, the "opgietingen" are very well done, the "high-wine" is simply delicious with the view as the icing on the cake, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We really enjoy our Badenkaart. It's even hard to understand the negative reviews. Let's hope that these bitter opinions will disappear and positive energy will arise when they find the right path to their well-being ;) Just go to this real corner of paradise, and treat yourself to a true moment of wellness.
