Nice Landal directly on a small lake, only few minutes to the highway. Good starting point to discover the area. Arnhem only a few minutes away be car. Nice and peaceful. Very good spa center, where there are some strange changes, like no more tobacco sauna?! Also the meditation sauna was cold... New big sauna in the middle of the yard, which is good. We live too close to stay here, but we come for the playground and lake. We even celebrated an anniversary for my son. There is enough space and enough to do for one day away from home to get a holiday feeling. Can't recommend this. Staff is friendly and willing to help but the location is not worth the price in my opinion. The swimming pool is tiny and so is the indoor playground. On top of that the facilities seem older. Do not book a long term stay! For a short visit of 2 days or less it might be ok but not for longer. Even with a toddler. The lake has a nice sandy area and playgrounds but it's a public lake anyone can go. The kitchen in our house was in good condition, the bathroom with the shower had some black mold. Rooms have no AC or ventilators. We also had to exchange one the mattresses in the parents bedroom. People running this place are really too cheap. 3 bed linens and 2 towels is 40 Eur for 4 nights. There is NOTHING in the houses. Nothing! No salt or pepper, no kitchen towel, no soap in any of the bathrooms. I've never rented a place that would save money on soap. It's a shame, the houses are otherwise nice and roomy. Service was friendly. I would appreciate more options for dining out on the premises. What are shame that a beautiful parc is made worse due to the people they employ and the lack of care they take of the main building. If everyrhing is a window front for example, cleaning the windows more often might be a handy thing to do. Some of the waiters were quite rude too and nobody seems to actually want to work. There's no proper manager either to oversee what the staff is actually doing. Pretty disappointing experience overall. What can I say, the park is excellent, the people are good, there is a very beautiful lake next to the park. A magnificent place, very beautiful, quiet, calm, good.
