I especially liked herring with hot potatoes. Omlette was full of oil though, I would not suggest that one. Prices are just like in other stops by the highway - expensive. But despite that - good stop, I liked the place. Beautiful place to take a time for rest. Green zone, place for children and helpful staff. Excellent - good food done right; way better than your average road side diner! Had really nice beetroot soup & fried Cepelinai, which are both must-trys Lithuania. Best lithuanian cuisine! * FOOD- There is no kids menu. We ordered " Vištienos karbonadas", "Kiaulienos karbonadas" with fries that was not the best choice. Children didn't eat. Both tasted not good even for me. ( Other customer, at the table beside our, ordered "Vištienos karbonadas su sūriu" but didn't eat also. He said it's taste strange. For me it looked like they were defrost and just heated. Not freshly cooked. Fries was not fresh also and sprinkled with lots of spices ( looked like "Vegeta"). Also we ordered "Jautienos kepsnys" it was ok, but very small and thin. "Cepelinai" portion was big and tasted good. While we were waiting for food I noticed that moast people ordered "Cepelinai" and "Šaltibarksčiai". Prices- quite big. * SERVICE- if you order something else then "Cepelinai" and " Šaltibarksčiai" prepare to wait for a good while. * ATMOSPHERE- quite cosy, interesting decor with a taste off old days. The portions are huge, the staff are friendly AND it was absolutely delicious. For €80 we were able to get two soups, three waffles, three big potato dumpling portions, cooked salmon AND pork. The decorations are also absolutely PEAK. Will definitely eat again.
