Additionally a small souvenir corner with honey and other nice things. Four of us came on a weekday at 1700, and we had our choice of tables. Everything on the menu is sourced locally from farmers and hunters in the area. Beautiful views right outside the restaurant, with Estonia’s highest peak right outside the front door. The inside is warm, home-like, cozy, with a fireplace in the main room. Yepp, this is it. This is the most dog friendly place there is, they offer bowl, water etc. The table arrangement creats an opportunity to find your owns space with the dog and enjoy the meal. When it comes to food, i thin that this is one of the hidden gems of Estonia. They offer local cousine (the key lies within the simplicity & taste of the raw material). Ordering tea or coffee? Remember grandmothers tea-cups? That's what makes the atmosphere of this place stick out even more! Maybe the best vegetable soup I’ve had in my life. The tapas plate was delicious. Same with the rhubarb water. a cozy cafe next to the mountain. great for lunch or also just coffee and cake. there are spaces inside and on the patio. no queues. staff is very lovely. food is great, not the cheapest. you can buy vinyl and local souvenirs here. menu available in estonian, english and latvia. medījuma gaļa (deer, beaver etc) “wild” meat on the menu. please visit 2nd floor restrooms. Hard not to give 5 stars here - it’s a lovely place and the service and quality of the food is fantastic. It’s just that the prices for the portion sizes of the two vegan options on the menu (warm salad and cutlets) were among the most expensive we have seen. But, boy, the quality was outstanding. So I can truthfully say that at those prices, we will not be visiting as often as we would like to - but we will visit again. We hope there may be a vegan dessert option on the menu when we do!
