Food is much more expensive than in a higher mid-range restaurant in middle of Budapest while you get a (much) lower than average quality and portion. It just had everything you need to relax and spend a fantastic day on a very affordable price. It has different pools indoor and outdoor as well, wellness, 4 saunas, restaurant, bar, etc. If you don't like the watersports on the lake, just spend the day in the thermal bath and relax. As tourists, we have not tried any baths in Budapest, after reading reviews on how dirty and overcrowded they are. This one was a 50 minute train ride from Budapest, then about 3km walk from station. We love walking and wanted to see some of the countryside; but this may not suit everyone. We went in on Tuesday at midday. There were people there (felt like mostly locals) but it was not crowded at all. It has indoor and outdoor pools. Indoor was a fixed 36 degree temperature, which was nice to stay in a while. Out of all saunas only one dry (at 80 degrees) and steam room were open. Overall we loved the experience and it felt genuine. A few restaurants in that area, which was nice to finish off with a local dinner before heading back. Great for our family! Lots to do including a huge and nice playground. We loved the bath and the whole vibe. Lots of food options too. Highly recommend for kids and families. Not a place ANYMORE to go with family.... Stay away!!!! Unfriendly, not allowing to enter with kids... Although we come here since 30 years. Terrible!
