Great historical place only reachable by a little bridge. Can be shrouded in sea-mist one minute and bathed in sunshine the next. Whichever you end up with, you will love the solitude. If you happen to be in the area this place is so awesome. The town is ocean facing and lots of bars and restaurants. Then of course you have the castle. Old force tower now turned into a public exhibit / recreational area. Go check it out! Breezy spot on the beach, with a nice view, though we did not walk across to the Castelo. Such a wonderful experience. Extremely well preserved with great signs explaining the origins of the local vegetation… worth a visit! It was closed when we visited, but what a beautiful place.We'll have to visit again Cool. I think it's free to check out, but not sure cuz I visited on Sunday... and it's closed on Sundays. People are free to walk over the bridge to this castle which was built by the Spaniards to protect a small harbour near Vigo, So as in. Very picturesque.
