The info panels are very interesting and probably when there are workshops it's much better. The museum of human beliefs is great! Pros: parking for free, on first sunday a month there is a free entrance, english speaking staff at reception, quite big areal, many interesting exponats, very clean and taken with a great care, several examples of crafts, beautiful paintings on the walls, green garden, cafeteria with quite cheap refreshments, even with live music! we spent there almost 3 hours, it is great for sundays afternoon for whole family, Cons: no english explanations, if I knew French, I could better understand the interpretation, it is my fault... Visited the parc on a sunday in april. Wonderful reconstructions of what could be a Gaelic settlement, as well as a Roman villa and temple. At the time of the visit there were re-enactors at the scene, who made the place come alive. Interesting panels with information for the visitor who likes to dig deeper into history. Polina I you want to get a taste of history, this is the place to be. On days where they have demonstrations you see some trades being performed. It helps to imagine how people lived. Very pleasant weekday visit. Good informative displays and well maintained. The museum is small but well organized. On weekends they also demonstrate crafts etc. Probably another visit… Great place to learn about prehistory and Roman living style. Reproduction of houses dating back to 5000BC. They have demonstrations of traditional work (leather work, bronze casting, pottery, blacksmith, etc) BUT only on certain days (Sundays when we went). Guided tours (in French) if there are enough people (more than 5). Some signs are in English (not many). Nice place to visit, recommend if you are in the neighbourhood.
