We had an amazing stay at Pupa! In the price of the room is included a vineyard tour, winemakers tour, and breakfast, which is incredible since it was pretty cheap. The rosé and the black serina are not to be missed! The service was simply disgusting. One of the waiters had an attitude of being very smart, as though he was doing us a favour. They didn't even care to set up the table properly (no knife, no bread, no salt & pepper). The pumpkin casserole that we had ordered, turned out to be 5 cm in diameter. My friend had taken a glass of white and I had a glass of red, later on I wanted a glass of white wine, the waitress poured my in my friend's glass, she couldn't bring me a fresh glass for my white wine. The was good but too expensive to my taste. We went there because of recommendation of the hotel where we were staying in Berrat. I myself don't recommend this place to any one! Needless to say, we didn't see any reason to leave a tip for the non-service. Quite frankly a bargain at 100 euros inc room, and tour. Id recommend getting the sharer starter between two for an early lunch. Davey is a lovely lad and a credit to his family. If youre doing the ask for the that's not part of the with lunch, it's an incredible red and their best imo. We went here for dinner and tasting. The restaurant is a great addition with well-prepared food that pairs nicely with their wines. We were only two of us. The restaurant designed for the large group it seems. There was difficulty to find table, we did it ourselves, no one met us. The staff's attitude was also noticeable. They were serving large groups, but we weren't given any attention. We waited a very long time for the menu and for our order to be taken. We called the waiter several times. The most outstanding thing was when we asked to pack the remaining meat to take away, they brought us a bag and foil. The food was not bad, but I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone because of this. The best experience I've had in Albania by a mile. Wines were some of the bests I've had in my life and the staff was amazing and very polite. The waiter made us feel like we were part of the natives and not just tourists.
