One of the Top rateds in Drobonik Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. This was the highlight of my family's Albania trip. There are few things that reviews don't make fully clear. There are also things that past reviews either got wrong or things have changed even in recent months. Our was in late April. The level was 2.5 out of 6 which was reported to be a good set of conditions for the trip. Our guide, Bledi, was top notch. He knew what he was doing, gave a lot of confidence to the team, and pointed out many points of interest that other groups may not have enjoyed. Physical difficult is probably 2/5 for difficulty. As long as the group has 2 strong rowers up front, then the rest should be fine. The itself really needs to be seen. It felt like we were in the Lord of the Rings. There wasn't much visible wildlife, but there are several waterfalls that are beautiful and different from one another. We got to spend time underneath the biggest one taking photos. There was even an interesting point where the got so tight the group needed to use their legs on the walls to shove the raft through. This is a lot more fun than it sounds and speaks to just how much of a group activity this is. Bring a good attitude and team spirit! A few things to know: Wear an underlayer meant for sports. I wore a rashguard and jammers, but any swimsuit should work just fine. You will get neoprene leggings that will almost certainly not fit correctly (mine were baggy) and a wetsuit shirt to pull over. If you look for photos you will see people with matching yellow long-sleeved tops and black leggings. That's what these are. Bring a change of underclothes and a bag to put your day clothes in. There are lockers (that don't really lock) that you put your stuff in. I took my shirt and pants that I wore over my swim layer and put them into the locker with dry underwear and the socks I was wearing. Don't wear socks on the trip. Everything will get soaked through. Sunblock your face and the backs of your hands as they'll be the only thing exposed and you are on water. It's easy to forget that even on a cloudy day, will reflect sun onto you and you will get a lot of sun exposure from that as well. They have shoes there but you're taking your chances on fit. Like the pants, these don't need to fit super well. You're not walking very much. Don't expect to wear your sneakers unless you're okay with them getting soaked all the way through. I wore shoes and left my sneakers and socks in the locker. You can bring a wet bag. I did, and so did several people on the trip. I put my own there. They will have a bottle of that you can all share, but... yeah, gross. I put my bottle and phone (for the camera) in the wet bag. Don't bother with a towel on the river. When you're done with the trip, there are cold showers if you're into that sort of thing. You probably shouldn't need it, though, unless you really got a lot of mud on you. You change into our dry clothes, put your wet clothes away, and then head to a group lunch. The lunch was a good spread of locally grown, bio/organic vegetables, goat, cheeses, and drink. A warning for gluten sensitive people (like myself): I don't think it's safe for celiacs even though it looks like it should be. My family all felt the effects of gluten after this meal. It might have been cross contamination, but this was a big let down since we were clear with the staff on our allergies. Just be careful. Recap on what I recommend you bring: Day clothes Swimsuit that you change into (or wear underneath) Towel Water bottle Wet bag for phone and bottle (no pockets in the gear) You shouldn't need to bring any money with you on the unless you intend to tip the tour guides. I made a mistake where I was expecting to be dropped off at my car so I could get the tip money, but they had me park in a different place from the pickup point so I was unable to tip. It's important to note that I don't think they expect a tip, but this was so much fun that I really wanted to tip the group. We joined the Rafting Group in May 2025 for three rafting sessions as part of a multi-activity trip, which also included a fantastic hiking tour they organised. Everything was incredibly well-run and seamless from start to finish. The whole team was outstanding – professional, knowledgeable, and great fun to be around. The rafting in particular were not only highly skilled but also created a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. They adapted the experience to suit all ability and confidence levels. I was a bit nervous to begin with, but ended up having an amazing time – and now I can’t wait to go back! It was also a bonus that they took loads of photos, so we didn’t have to worry about bringing phones on the water. The scenery was stunning, and the facilities at their new glamping site far exceeded expectations – spacious, well-equipped, and the food was excellent. I’d highly recommend this company if you want a fun, safe, and well-organised adventure in Albania. Huge thanks to the whole team – especially Kev and our guide Arti! Hope to see you all again soon 🙌🏼 A really nice experience in the Osumi canyon! This walk within the canyon, filling the river bed, feet in the cool water, is a great way to explore the beauty of the place. It's an easy walk and a treat on a hot summer day! The were nice and rather protective of the environment. But we would have welcomed more information about the place from them. A must do nonetheless! I had a great time! The overall experience was super fun and filled with positive energy. The were friendly and created a good vibe throughout the trip. The canyons of Osumi was absolutely stunning – definitely one of the highlights. While there is some room for improvement in organization and timing, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for an adventure with great views and a fun atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit! We did canyoning just yesterday with our family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 13) and it was really fun. The showed us safe places to jump off small cliffs (some quite high actually!) and we had a nice day exploring the canyon. Would recommend for a day of fun, and to have lunch at the the guesthouse just further back towards Osumi but just a few minutes from the rafting place. The drive there from Berat is quite grueling…. We had a great time canyoning with Valentine & Darian. A perfect trip; nice atmosphere, friendly and humorous guides. But also focus on safety & clear instructions. Great lunch after. Thanks so much! Absolutely stunning place! The Osumi Canyons offer breathtaking views, and a peaceful atmosphere. A must-visit if you're in Albania! Today we did a river hiking in the Osumi with the Albania Rafting Group. Our were Lionel and Lucas, two friendly and experienced guys. Communication was smooth, and our children had a lot of fun during the hike. We felt safe at all times. It was also a nice touch that halfway through the we were offered something to drink and eat. We can truly recommend this trip.
