We were welcomed so warmly. The winery looked so great (ask for a tour and the new cellar). And I think so he best part is that it is still family owned. We are staying overnight (no one can resist a good tastery). Genti our guide during the tastery was so warm, welcoming an had so much nice to tell about the winery. You feel the warmth and trough his stories. We would love to come back and see al the new developments they are planning for the winery. We had a really lovely visit to Nurellari Winery. The tour was well done and gave a great sense of the winery’s story and approach. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming which is a nice setting to enjoy good wine. The was excellent, with a strong focus on local grape varieties, which I really appreciated. Montemeca stood out as my personal favorite — complex and very well balanced. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. The is top notch—take your time and enjoy the experience. Very different from in CA USA (which is also wonderful with great wines) this feels like family and the work and the process of making is visceral and personal. The process is full of love but also intense calculation. I especially loved the Rose (Serina grape) surprising since I usually don’t like Rose but this is dry and lovely, I highly recommend anyone to come here and enjoy this fully. And maybe take home some lovely along the way. We had the most amazing stay at Nurellari. As like our whole of Albania, the hospitality of the staff was impeccable and made our stay even more special. The was outstanding, the tour was informative and the was a wonderful experience, whereby it was very clear the family were incredibly proud of their vineyard and the beautiful they produced. I booked the room through booking.com and that was easy, then I struggled to book a but finally after a long time I received a confirmation of a time that suited us really well. When we got there we had a private tour and and it was really enjoyable, super friendly atmosphere and very professional 👌 The room was really nice and the property in general was really high standard! In the morning we walked in to the breakfast and a table was set for us with a big variety of food, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruits and more. It was really amazing! The most incredible thing about our visit was that they made us feel like home. It felt like we were at the very posh summer cottage of the family and we felt so relaxed and at peace! I truly recommend this place, if I come back to Albania I will take my friends with me to this place because it was so worth it! <3 Amazing experience. The wines are excellent. If you are in Albania this is a must do experience. The owners are very friendly and the is top notch with small bites pairing with the delicious wines. Beautiful with my boyfriend for the - we can’t comment on rooms so ignore the rating! Ended up just being the two of us for our tour. The is delicious! I would say, having done a few tours, I would have loved to have a flavour profile for each and the food to pair. That said, the food board was lovely with the wines, the feedback above is purely to make it even better! Location wise - beautiful BUT there are two entrances and google maps took us down a very tiny and sharp entrance road which isn’t obvious you’re going the right way. Once you arrive it’s worth it! The was an amazing – perfectly organized, with a friendly atmosphere and lots of interesting knowledge. The wines were carefully selected, each with its own unique story and flavor, and the way they were presented made the both engaging and enjoyable. The winery itself left a great impression – beautiful surroundings, a charming interior, and the passion of the hosts made me want to stay longer. Definitely a place worth visiting and returning to.
