If you're planning a trip to Berat, I highly recommend Saimir as a guide in this stunning city of! From the moment we met him, Saimir's passion for his hometown was evident. His extensive knowledge of Berat's rich history and culture truly brought the city to life. Saimir took us on a captivating journey through Berat's iconic sites, including the breathtaking castle that overlooks the city. He shared fascinating stories and anecdotes that made the history feel personal and engaging. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he encouraged us to ask questions, making the experience feel interactive and tailored to our interests. What truly stood out was Saimir's warmth and hospitality. He treated us like friends rather than just tourists. Beyond the sights and tastes, Saimir's love for Berat and its people shone through. He took the time to explain the significance of the city's architecture, the traditions of its residents, and the stories that have shaped its identity. His passion made every moment of the memorable. Thank you, Saimir, for an unforgettable experience! Nice guides! Good groups. Good English. Sony (guide) made the day perfect. Venues fantastic. We went to the Canyon Tour. Food could have been better.and more. All over still highly recommendable. We had a great with Miharbi, he was a passionate guide visiting the beautiful City of Berat, thank you very much for:) We booked a cooking class in Berat and it was very nice. Because we were sick on the original date, we asked if we could move it to the next day. Luckily, Visit Albania Operator was very flexible. They responded very quickly and we could choose which time we wanted to join the next day. The cooking class itself was great. Nina and Freddy are very sweet. They speak a little English, but as a translater there was someonen from Visit Albania Operator with us. He was also very nice. With all three we had a lot of fun, we laughed a lot and above all: we cooked a very nice dinner. For us, it was our first cooking class in a different country and we loved it. We would recommend this cooking class in Berat to everyone! By the way, until now I did not even mention the unique place where you have the cooking class. Maybe you have to find out yourself (or you can check the photos). Fantastic experience visiting the Pupa vineyards to taste the grapes directly from the vines. Then driven to the Pupa winery for a of the winemaking facilities followed by tastings of three of their wines with charcuterie board.Finish off with Rakia and lots of toasting. The professor is an excellent and entertaining guide, we had a brilliant afternoon/evening. We had an amazing in Spanish with Bledi. He showed us the castle and explained the history behind in a super interesting way. During the castle visit we entered in some churches that we wouldn’t have had access if we came by ourselves. We also went to a panoramic view point where you could see Berat. It was super pretty! The was 3h. We loved it so much!! The wine was really great! We loved it! The wine professor is flexible and knows a lott about the proces. You need to walk a little bit up Hill through the yards Our lasted around three hours and was such a great experience! We started off by visiting a beautiful mosque just a short walk from the office. After that, we hiked up the grounds surrounding the castle, which was a fun little adventure on its own. At the top, we explored a couple of charming old churches and were treated to stunning panoramic views from the very peak of the castle — definitely a highlight! Our guide was fantastic — super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. If you’re in Albania and looking to soak up some local culture while enjoying amazing views, I’d definitely recommend this tour!
