AsI visited many times, there was always good beer and good Slovakian drink - hruskovica. You should try it when you are there. I remember times when they make the best bryndzove halusky ever. After skiing you will eat whatever, but meal here was always good. And place is very nice and stylish. And when you get out drunk and cant go home, you can use the hotel next door to sleep over. You have got everything there. Great location and very nice environment..cozy and warm in a snowy day. Food is good but nothing memorable. Pricing is very reasonable. Best part was the staff. Super friendly and always with a smile! I waited 45 minutes for my tea. We ordered and reminded 2 waitresses twice that we are still waiting after an hour. After 1.5 hour without food we went to the cash desk to find out what happened. The waitresses claimed for the third time that everything is OK and that we have to be patient, while the cook admitted that they made the food and served to someone else. No apology from the waitress... We were there once again to give them a chance. Pancakes were served quickly. The waitresses did not greet us, smile or thanks us in the end. Awkward place... From inside the restaurant looks really cozy and the animals over the walls are looking alive which makes it really unique. From the side of dishes, well to be honest portions were really small and with no taste. Prices are really high compared to quality of food. You couldn’t fill your stomach from the small amount. Over all don’t recommend this place, wont come here again for sure Beautiful accommodation in the heart of nature. The surrounding environment is breathtaking, the breakfasts were very tasty. Near the accommodation you can watch the stars and the meteor shower. 🌌 Great place to sleep and watch the sky. Great place and natural beauty around it. A bit disappointed with the food portions, I don't eat that much per meal and I found this portions very small although is tasty. If you are arriving from a trek, I hope that you had some mushrooms and wild berries throughout the way :) They were wrong in 2 of 3 meals. They gave bacon to vegetrian and instead of making new one they remvoed the bacon that we saw later on the plate under the meal. Very bad service in the restaurant due to lack of staff... the restaurant was not even full, it was maybe 1/3 of its capacity! Dear Mr. Business owner, stop being greedy and hire more people!! Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and the most friendly staff. Great place to stop for lunch or a drink. It's a beautiful looking place to stay with a lovely restaurant. The food was incredible there and the staff looked after us so well. We will definitely return next year. Very much worth a visit.
