There's a really nice large children's playground outside with lots of activities, plenty of space and great equipment made of sustainable wood! This is a small that presents some astronomical information and something regarding the Roman empire. This is not an international tourist friendly museum, there are no materials in English available. The surroundings are beautiful, so it wasn't all in vein. Perfect place for events :) Very interesting museum. And a great place for a walk in the forest. Jeg havde et par timers gode oplevelser på museet idag. De har for tiden en udstilling om det hårde liv normale folk havde tilbage i vikingetiden. Udstillingen er bygget op omkring tre videoer med hver en fortælling om en del i livet for en fiktiv familie dengang, men baseret på tolkninger af skeletter fundet ikke langt fra Kroppedal. Der er fine forklaringer og udstillet spændende fund og modeller. Der er også en udstilling om astronomi i Danmark fra oldtiden til nu. Også rigtig fascinerende hvis man er til den slags. Det skal også lige nævnes at Kroppedal har fået etableret den største skovlegeplads jeg har set som man kan bruge uden at betale entre. Jeg følte bestemt jeg har fået en god oplevelse. Nice place with well documented vikings artifacts Also the film of the viking Eric is quite interesting ,which complies with the shown artifacts in the ground floor. super nice place where you can see different things and go for a walk in the woods. but it can also be improved Great place for spending the day with the family Et meget fint lille med 2 interessante udstillinger. Et sted jeg vil besøge igen for nærmere fordybelse. Jeg var det med 2 børnebørn, så der skulle ikke hænges for længe ved tingene :) A small but fantastically interesting museum. The small exhibition on viking farmers in this area was extremely well done. Fascinating. Very helpful staff. Very highly recommended! This place give’s to you calm, peace and a good fresh from above. 😌 Staff was friendly and good at explaining, even in English too. They explained about the museum, as well as the surrounding areas to see, and also about the mead available to buy in the store there - super friendly!
