An absolutely stunning landscape if you pick the right season (May-Okt). Walking the pastures is free of charge. There is also an indoor museum. It is really amazing how one can transform such tiny archeological finds into such a marvellous exhibition. The presentation of the artifacts is stunning. It is a true addition to the Vikingship in Roskilde and a 'must see' when you are looking for the full picture of the Viking era in this region of Denmark. Great job; thank you so much for your hospitality. A small space, beautifully curated. Stunning exhibits of Viking offerings and artifacts. Absolutely worth a stop and then a walk amongst the ancient viking landscape. Small but very nicely curated with some interactive exhibits and real archeological findings. Also has an outside part to discover remaining sites. A small and cute full with the rich, Danish, Viking culture that they used to have. The exhibition is full of locally found small goods, from bones to silver emblems. As someone who is very interested in Viking culture and it’s history, I would recommend going here. The shop is also a huge recommendation if you’re looking for cute viking-inspired souvenirs from your trip. A really interesting and great exhibits albeit fairly small. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The yellow trail is tricky if you have a stroller, probably more so if wet across the field. Highly recommended. Me and my girlfriend (she is an archeologist) were both impressed by the quality of this little museum. Gave a good understanding of Lejre's and position in Danish history. Very good customer service and guided tour. Seeing the archeology close up is a real privilige, while listening to the interestingly presented of a very important place in Denmark's history, maybe the most important. As The staff are really knowledgeable and good at bringing the to life. All in all worth every penny and a must visit if you are interested in and are in the area Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
