Great ambiance, tasty beers, and they even have free popcorn! The evening I was there it was full and consequently really stuffy and warm, condensation running down the windows but all the windows were locked. Free... popcorn... free... popcorn....... This a candy store for beer lovers , a wide range of beer from all over the world. It's one of my favorite bars in Frederricksberg. On a Tuesday around 2 pm, I got a pizza from Mio, a restaurant right next to the bar. I was told I could bring my plate and eat it inside the bar, since they have some collaboration together (I have done it twice before with no issues, in the exact same circumstances, including the time of day). I bring my pizza inside the bar, sit down and eat. Halfway through, this one bartender tells me I have to buy something from the bar if I want to eat there. I didn't want anything, so, confused, I say nothing and take the plate to an outside table. The same bartender follows me and basically tells me off, saying smth like 'this is a bar' and 'we run a business here'. Not cool! Who tells someone to go away halfway through eating their meal? I saw him looking my way when I first walked into the bar, very visible with the pizza plate in my hand, plus there was almost no one present to use up his attention. Couldn't he just say smth once I walked in? As a result, I decided to take the half-pizza back to Mio and ask to put it in a box, then took it outside somewhere and ate it cold.
