One of the Best Places To Visits in Kirke Hyllinge Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Lots of things worth seeing. Free coffee with the ticket. Parking in front of the building. What a splendid experience. The is sort of out of the way, but absolutely worth the trip. The historical importance of this museums WWII exhibition is definitely something that should not be forgotten. We used a little over 2 hours and enjoyed the audio guide (in Danish) which we received without extra expense. There is complimentary coffee at the end of the tour. We will definitely visit the again. Fully packed historical war museum. Centered around but not exclusive to ww2. Har aldrig været der før, det må være en fejl i mit liv, kommer igen med mine børnebørn Do recommend. There are ww2 objects, tanks, machine guns, weapons etc. Moreover, they have hunting weapons and much more. It is worth it to see it . and they were very friendly Staff .i recommend it. One hundred billion stars. I cycled 15 miles off path just to visit and seeing it was closing an hour before I thought - I raced here and I am SO GLAD I did. I’ve been to at least 60 military museums world wide. I go to every and any military museums I come across but this is my absolute favorite. It’s privately owned and has the largest collection of German WW2 military gear I’ve encountered- even in Germany - a must go. A LOT of things collected from WW2, very neatly displayed and the audioguide gives you a very good tour of the collection. Highly recommended for a family trip, to pack the picnic basket and spend many hours there. A little sad they didn't have ice cream, as we were visiting on a very hot day. The is divided into three parts, Danish military and hunting achievements, Danish resistance movement and World War II. I was impressed with their unique collection, including Saddam Husseins personal revolver and T-34 tank which participated in battles on the Eastern Front. They even have a jet fighter, a Saab F-35 Draken. There are a lot of guns and matériel from all over the world. The exhibition is very well organised, the pieces, descriptions and audio guide complement each other to tell a story. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff. A very nice to visit. I got a doc printed in English that explains or describes exhibits. Gennemført udstilling. Dejligt at man kan få udleveret et headset. Man får detaljeret fortælling om den udstilling man ser på. Venligt personale. Very informative war with main emphasis on weapons and various effects of WW2. As an extra, there were weapons from the Middle Ages and the American Civil War . Very interesting lecture from the owner of the about the origin and especially the procurement of these weapons to the museum. Especially how they managed to have both a tank and a plane indoors. The best WW2 in Denmark! A massive collection of artifacts from Denmark and beyond - all set up in detailed displays with some English explanations. It’s amazing that it was all amassed by a private collector and they have shared it with the public. Take note of the regular opening days and hours on their website. Med interesse i anden verdenskrig, er det en god udstilling. Glorifies smoking, has a lot of display cases so if you are interested in looking at a lot of different guns, and a single yet I would recommend. But no real telling of stories. All the performances are proceeded by smoking by almost all the actors on stage. Would not recommend it for children.
