The observatory is old and not very well-maintained, but the guided tour was amazing. The guide was super knowledgeable and shared fun and interesting knowledge that was both interesting to our kids and to us adults. We will be back to join some of the events to learn more about space. The Observatory is beautifully situated in rolling countryside, and it's easy to get around the different buildings. Denmark's biggest telescope is in one of the buildings, and we had a good 15 minute explanation from one of the staff. There were also good displays on geology in other buildings including an entertaining interactive sandbox which is well worth a try. Fantastisk oplevelse.
