On its own, the you get through the vineyards and the cellars is very nice and you get a good idea of how this big company / cooperation works. It's a very commercialised and session, which is not necessarily bad, but it's something one should be aware of. For beginners, this is a good starting point in Wachauer wine. However, if you are a afficionado, I would highly recommend going to one of the smaller, family-run wineries in the area to get a more personalised experience and a more extensive and higher-quality session. Tours happen every Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 3:30pm. The cellar visit and the are only guided and the downside of it is that they are in German. They are friendly and the visit to the cellar is really cool. After the there's a shop with very reasonable prices.
