Amazing place, with such a rich history and unique art, collected by the Bellu family throughout their hundreds of years of existence. Tickets can be bought from there. You can visit the guest house and the tower at the entry, both worth visiting. The guest house had amazing pieces of furniture and in the tower you can climb up to the last floor. The immediate floor has an exposition of traditional women clothes. The main house was destroyed during communism but can be seen in the pictures. The tells the story very nice. I was really looking forward to visiting Conacul Bellu today, but unfortunately, our experience was a little bit confusing. Despite protecting such an important cultural treasure, the information available to visitors is a bit unclear. My husband and I traveled specifically to see the manor, only to find it closed. Google Maps shows the hours as 10:00–16:00, while the actual schedule is Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00–14:00. It’s also a bit confusing that there are two buildings that can be visited, with one located further up the road. There’s no sign or separate schedule for the second building, which can easily mislead visitors who see the first sign about visits by appointment and then turn back. A simple informational panel would help clarify this, and it would be especially helpful for smaller groups under 10 people so they can still enjoy the second building. We appreciate the work you do to protect this cultural treasure, and updating this information online or with a small sign would go a long way in making visitors’ experiences smoother and more enjoyable. You have to make an appointment to go and it must be a group of ten. Disappointing.
