Broadmeadow Estuary

Dublin, Ireland Nature preserve

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Wonderful place to get up close to very friendly (if not a bit overly confident) swans. Bring them something nice to eat like lettuce or cabbage and they will walk straight up to the car. Great place to get some photos. My favourite place for a walk. Lovely views and lots of birds. The are so beautiful and friendly. Bring something for them. Some of us refer to this as Broadmeadows Estuary or Malahide Estuary. Famed for its and birdlife this part of the estuary is easily accessed by car or bike. The River Broadmeadows is quite an important river drainage wise but there is scant attention to it. I include a few photos. It starts just north of Dunshaughlin and meanders towards the sea just north of Swords. Nice What a lovely place ♥️♥️♥️ It was there on my todo list since last 1 year. I never thought it could be that beautiful and that peaceful. Lovely swans, ducks, seaguls and beautiful sight of lush green sanctuary alongside the water. Would love to go there every weekend. Great place for a walk, landscape seems to be different every time according to the weather!plenty of wild birds to observe. feeding the Beautifull place to go for walk Aprox 5km stretch Nice place for a stroll and look at the wildlife Beautiful place to see aquatic birds. Unfortunately, loads of people are feeding the birds the wrong food, despite the visible sign. Broadmeadows Estuary, also known as Malahide Estuary, is a beautiful and tranquil spot that’s easy to reach by car or bike. The area is full of birdlife, with and cranes often seen gliding gracefully across the water. Small fish can sometimes be spotted leaping from the surface, adding to the lively atmosphere. The Broadmeadows River begins north of Dunshaughlin and gently winds its way to the sea just beyond Swords. Though it plays an important role in drainage, it feels more like a hidden natural treasure. It’s a perfect place for walking, birdwatching, or simply enjoying peaceful views by the water. Lovely place plenty of ducks and nice place for wildlife on low tide Nice and good spot.
