I booked this as a present for my wife's birthday. We arrived at Flynns early, and there wasn't much sign of life about it. After reading a notice, we rang a bell, and a lady came and allowed us access. You park your car in a secure yard, with an automatic gate. Michael appeared and booked us in. We were allocated a upstairs, I had requested a courtyard room, but these are for families. Our was a good size,with an extremely comfortable bed, and a great shower in the bathroom. There was also a fairly large TV. Meals are breakfast only. The bar opens limited hours. We were there at the weekend, so I don't know if the bar opens during the week. Only a mile or so from Termonfeckin beach. The beach is absolutely stunning, and a great place to pass a few hours on a nice day. There's a golf course and club, a restaurant and a cafe fairly close to Flynns. We could thoroughly recommend it for a break, and there are plenty of things to do locally. We stayed there for two nights as a family of four. Clean rooms, perfect beds and the nicest staff. What outstanding staff. I can’t put into words how lovely, caring and helpful the staff are here. My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights while on a work trip to Ireland. Felt like we had two personal butlers as well as best friends. The rooms are lovely beds are comfy and breakfast service was above and beyond any hotel I have been too. I don’t think I have ever left a review but this place needed it!!!!!! Thank you so much if you see this❤️ We were scheduled to stay for one night but ended up staying for three as my wife had a chest infection which necessitated a trip to A & E in Drogheda, after which she spent 2 days in the room. Without exception all the staff were welcoming, helpful, kind and courteous. A special mention has to go to Ben who seemed to be there all the time either on reception, serving breakfast, doing the cleaning, or serving behind the bar; always with a ready smile. A lovely place and lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend staying here. We shall be back. Beautiful hotel in the heart of the village. Everyone was friendly professional and nothing was too much trouble. Our was spacious beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean . The breakfast was very tasty and filling cooked to perfection. I would not hesitate to stay again. Came here for Valentine’s Day and it’s a Very beautiful place. Everyone was very kind and welcoming and the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. There was private parking to keep the car safe and The was spotless and very modern really enjoyed my stay will definity be staying again. Highly recommend to others.
