Beautiful and very peaceful place of course all depends on the weather. Make sure to check out the tide prior to arrival as that dictates of how much walking space is there at the time. Beautiful beach, goes on for ever. Fabulous backdrop of mountains to the north. Lots of sand and not steep, ideal for paddling or a dip. Just around the corner from train station and but stop. Lots of pubs restaurants, coffee shop and take away few minutes walk from the beach. Public toilets, free parking and playground. During low tide long beach. Definitely one of my fav in Ireland.
