Starters were amazing as were the mains. Both the chicken and ribs fell apart. The Guinness was very good. If I was to knock it down on anything it would be the 2e a pint of cordial. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Great ambience, generous portions, and absolutely delicious food! We loved the shared BBQ platter, lamb shank, Sunday roast beef, and the kids enjoyed their burger and pizza. The whole family had a great time — we’ll be back for the prawns next! Some absolutely delicious food, very attentive and super friendly staff all topped off with a very welcoming and relaxing interior. Thank you very much to the whole team for making my birthday celebration lunch with my family one to remember. The Sunday roasts are outstanding like everything else we ordered off the menu. We stopped in with our two furry family members, Butch and Sunny, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — tails were wagging all around! The food was exceptional — we humans were just as spoiled as the dogs! You can tell they really care about making everyone, two-legged and four-legged, feel at home. It’s rare to find somewhere that strikes the perfect balance between top-notch service and genuine warmth, but Sweeney’s nails it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal where your dogs are more than just tolerated — they’re truly welcomed. I needed a dog friendly place and Sweeney's did not disappoint. Our food was amazing...HUGE portions and a super friendly server who really looked after us. This was topped off by our Furry companion enjoying his ultra special Doggy Ice Cream! To give this establishment 5 stars doesn't seem like enough...I'd go 10.
