Gorgeous cafe, restaurant & shop in a beautiful setting. And to make it even better, it's dog friendly! The coffee & food was really good. They also have a dog park on site and cute farm animals around too. Popped in for Friday last. The restaurant is in a setting and is animal friendly with a doggy wash available. There is a fantastic shop facing the restaurant if you fancy some beautiful household wares. The restaurant is open and spacious inside with lots of room between tables. The menu is excellent as are the staff. There were three of us and we opted for two fish and chips. The fish was awesome as were the fries. The third meal was a beautiful chicken burger with fries, it was devine. If you are looking for food and in beautiful surroundings, This is the place. Highly recommended. We went here as part of our local dachshund meet up group, we had heard things about the food so we decided to have / dinner after the meet up. We were both really hungry and decided to go for the lasagne which came with chips coleslaw and salad. The lasagne was absolutely delicious so cheesey and flavourful, the chips and salad also good. There are some farmyard animals, a dog run, gift shop and garden centre in this location so plenty to look at. I’d recommend a visit it’s well worth a look around. There’s also an antiques flea market on the last Saturday of the month until September. This is a really nice facility with lots to do, delicious food and friendly staff. Sweets and Savoury I met my family here for recently. A table of 7. We were seated quickly. Some lovely dishes and sweet treats on offer though limited vegetarian options. Around the table we had soup (always made with cream), ham and cheese toasty, potato hash, open chicken sandwich, chicken focaccia, side salad and home made brown bread along with a children’s brownie and hot chocolate. Portion sizes are good. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices, all delicious. Reasonably priced. Lovely waitress serving the and checked in a few times. No pressure to rush us through the meal or leave the table either. Always a go to. It's one of those hidden gems offering food and really nice coffee. We will be visiting again for sure. Sweet breakfast and place that reminds me of wine country in California. A little gem of a place. Beautiful food, venue, staff. Was genuinely impressed, I really enjoyed our breakfast Love this place, usually come here on birthdays as a treat. The food quality is amazing and iced Carmel lattes are delicious. Usually come for breakfast so haven’t tried to menu but have heard things. 100% recommend the breakfast here, served until 12 which is also great. Nice place...quick service. Food had potential of being great. Bacon was clearly not cooked from fresh, it was dry and the eggs were over cooked. No one checked the table. I'd still give it another try. What a lovely restaurant, food was really and tasty. are a credit to them and definitely made me rate the place! And to boot there is super little shop and garden place to get some bits . I saw a fantastic gluten free menu with loads of choices too which is hard to find Came for today & I’m so happy to say Sage & Stone did not disappoint! Stunning venue with gorgeous decor, were super friendly and sat us quickly considering it was a busy time. Food came out fairly quick; I went for the Chicken Pesto Focaccia which was so tasty! Fresh chicken & bacon and loads of cheese which I love! 😊 My friend went for the potato hash and couldn’t stop eating it she loved it! Will 100% be back again to try a coffee and a cake 😊 Sage & Stone is a real gem! The food is absolutely delicious – everything is fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The are so friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the relaxed atmosphere. One of the best parts? It’s super dog-friendly! It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with your furry friend by your side. Highly recommend for a laid-back, tasty outing! Amazing food and very reasonable prices.
