I didn't expect such attractions! while on the second floor in the palace part, the decorations of the rooms are very impressive, yet you can see similar ones in other palaces or museums. On the other side, the interactive part on the ground floor is amazing! Plenty of thematic rooms, multimedia boards and even games. You can spend half a day here, being impressed in each next room. I strongly recommend! Interesting museum in renovted Really nice with authentic furniture, fireplaces, walls and ceilings decor. You can imagine how everything looked hundreds years ago. And of course the with some nice views into the river. It is really worth to !🙂 I visited museum and the tower, museum was rather modern and even kids would have something to see, you can go through all rooms in less than hour and learn a lot about Jekabpils and Krustpils castle, there arent too many rooms opened for the public just 5 - 6 from all rooms, but it it is still worth to it :) a view from the is beautiful as well :) Worth to visit! Complex ticket for 5 euros and you can 2 floors in and for city view. Big with lot to see, also interactive games. Recommended! Amazing views from the tower. Ridiculously intricate pieces of history. How much power did these noble houses exert, and how much did they hold back? Very interedting with original interiors and history of Latvia and the city. Also, it's possible to castle's and observe beautiful environs! The museum stuff is very diligent and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised about how much had changed since I visited it 10 years ago. It has spectacular exabitions. Relatively moderate in size, this Krustipls (also Museum of History of Jekabpils) is amazing place to visit: renovated exterior and well preserved, historical and clean interior impresses! Largest hall has amazing acoustics for concerts, make sure you listen in if there is an opportunity! And very welcomong staff. Absolute must place to see in Jekabpils! A well maintained garden with a couple of benches at the bank of the Daugava River. Perfect for walking or reading.
