Nice place to as easily accessible by bus and short walk from final bus stop at the school. We have delicious lunch at the in and spent approx 3 hours in total. Great place to to relive some of the things from the past Beautiful and peaceful place with traditional houses and a rich collection of antiques. The staff is very friendly, and the food in the is excellent. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the authentic local atmosphere. Learn about Bosnia's cultural past in a recreated historic village. The is also a museum. Fantastic food and great staff. A must see. The views are awesome. Very nice village, but the staff in the don't speak english and they were little bit unfriendly so we didn't take food.... Absolutely wonderful place. A small ethnological museum with the nicest interiors I have ever seen. Very nice too with local dishes. When we visited we were the only ones there and it was almost closing time but they were very kind to serve us, the service was very quick and the food was delicious. And having the "village square" to ourselves was like in a dream. Maybe a bit far from the main road but the road is good so you get there fast. Highly recommend to if you are in the Banja Luka area. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST VEAL I'VE EATEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE. PERIOD!!!!!! Woooowwww!! Plus the place is very nice and everyone from the staff is kind and super friendly! 100% recommended! (And it's pet friendly! 😍😍) Very nice place to visit. Open air museum, with replicas of a from the 19th to early 20th century visit. Very valuable various collections and presentation of old ways of doing things and living in households in that time. Very well managed place, clean, welcoming. Nice restaurant. Modest but smart choices of local tasty dishes. Nice place to go and spend day, with small school children, who will be able to see interesting things and play around. It looks like it is pat friendly, but I saw only small dogs. Also, entrance is charged 4 BAM. And they accept only cash, no cards transactions. It is less than half an hour driving from Banja Luka, toward Kneževo. I fully recommend this place for quality time and family field trips. Worth a if you are around. Only 2€ entrance fee. I on a summer weekday so there is no activities. The explanation of the exhibit or history can be better. Excellent place. We had a nice room in hotel Pirg in old style. The territory is well kept and very beautiful. Bridges, houses, church, animals. You're like in old village. But service and breakfast is not for 5 stars hotel. But it worth to and stay there. An excellent choice for anyone interested in the history of this part of Bosnia. The museum features a wonderful with traditional dishes. I tried the veal from the bell and potatoes, which were exquisite. I definitely recommend trying rakija. Perfect spot for remembrance of our ancestors way of life. It's a great place to spend a few hours and take a lunch with your loved ones. Fantastic for kids too. Well laid out and very interesting. There’s an area on the hillside of buildings which have been brought from various places around this region and another area of reconstructed buildings, all displaying daily life in times gone by. I wish there had been a little more English, but to their credit, the website has an English option. There’s just no cellular service up there, so you either have to read about it before or after your visit. Outdoor museum with various traditional rural buildings, filled with plethora of tools and artifacts. There is also a with delicious domestic food. Great place to for anyone interested in the history of the area. Just had a snack and a coffee in the restaurant, which was really good. The Rakija is a must try!
