Absolutely fantastic, huge, Norman castle, in their Romanesque style ( really, Norman style). Wish it were open when I visited!!!!! Well it's a castle with no great expectations but it's worth having a look and were it is located there is lovely views If you are in the area of Paterno you need to visit this castle, it's a must. Great historical value for the Simeto Valley. The road go to the castello is very nice . For me it is more valuable than the castello.
