This is my first time visit to this swimming in Esposende (July, 2022). My experience is wonderful and exceeds my expectations. This place is great to spend with family and kids. You CAN re-enter the after you are inside, so you can bring your own food or buy from their snack bar restaurant or have lunch from the restaurants nearby. Wearing a mask is not mandatory anymore. 1. TICKET After the entrance, you will meet with the ladies whom will give you assistance about the ticket. They have online ticket order too. The price is quite affordable. We paid 21.22€ for 2 adults and 1 kid (9 years old). 2. LOCATION The location is easy to reach by google maps. We went from Gaia and it took almost 1 hour to arrive in Esposende. 3. PARKING The parking is FREE. They have limited parking lot for the visitors. If you arrive late, it will be horrible to find a parking like what we experienced today. We parked our car a bit far from the pool. 4. ENTRANCE After the payment, the lady will give you a key locker to store your things. You will change your outfit there. The entrance of the is through the bathroom. Women and men entrance are separated. 5. POOL They have and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and hidromassagem. What makes this place special: - They will turn on alarm to gather people into pool. Then, there will be waves for around 5 minutes. I had this experience in Parque Warner Madrid. The waves will come again after several hours. - The is a bit warmer. - You must wear head cover for pool. - Outdoor has a sea view which is so pretty. - The umbrella and sunbed are free of charge. - Both has different level of depths. - The is very clean without chemicals smell. - The life guard always keeps their eyes on the visitors. - The outdoor is salty like we are in the ocean. You are not allowed to eat inside the installation. You can only eat outside the installation area. 6. RENTING UMBRELLA and BENCH No need to rent anything. All is included. You just need to come earlier to find a spot (umbrella and sunbed). 7. TOILET The toilet is clean. There is toilet, changing room, and locker. 8. FOOD They have a snack bar outside near outdoor pool. The price is okay for some reason but exactly not what we want. So, we had lunch in the restaurant nearby. 9. FOTOS It is prohibited to take a picture or video inside the installation. 10. OTHERS - They have mini golf and table tennis to play. - Entrance accessible for wheelchair. - Parking accessible for wheelchair. - FREE WIFI accessible inside the swimming pool. - Kids must be always accompanied by adults. Excellent facilities. Warm with waves as well as outdoor next to the river front. Small coffee shop inside. Locker facilities available. Very clean and highly recommended. Fantastic atmosphere with my family full day tanks to hall the staff very welcome and thanks again for your support I'll be back for short term Good place for family and kids. One big outside and several with heated water, with waves. Has the main amenities like snack bar and restaurant. Perfectly rested after the long Camino day. Possibility to swim in the and go to the sauna. Very good price - 6eur per person for the whole day. Great ambience, but they should improve their protection against the strong winds of this region Rude and "we know everything better"-staff. Unhelpful and they love discussing instead of just helping. They forgot giving us keys for the lockers which I cannot understand honestly. The building is old, smelly and in deep need of a renovation. The Turkish Hamam has nothing to do with Turkish Hamams. It was ridiculous, disgusting and not even warm. I will never come here again and I advice you to do the same if you not want your money and time to be wasted for such an ugly experience. TOP🔝🔝🔝 Can not recommend this place. Children are not allowed to take any in children outside, even a small ball but adults are allowed to smoke at any place. So, no area to play any game with my kid 4 years old. only swim in pool. Outside in the relax area, there are motors , pumps and it works so loud periodically that we can not even normally hear each other in 2 meters. There is air pumped slider inside in but just for 1 hour. Then the slider is removed. This is an awfully crowded place! Starting from 9am in the morning the internal is just stuck with people. Most are coming for the whole day! It is extremely hard to stay there even for an hour in such a noise - don't understand how they can stay here the whole day. And of course hard to swim around all these crowds. They even let full several school classes in at one time, so that there can be more than a hundred of people simultaneously!!! Outdoor is beautiful but it can be used only by people practicing ice swimming - the is not warmed, so the temperature there is around +20-22. Besides, the pools are not clean: the tiles are dirty, as well as the sunbeds. Overall: not recommended. The administration should urgently do something on regulation of visitors. The outdoor should be warmed - this will also help deal with the crowds. And of course general cleaning is needed. Good facilities, but the toy policy ruins the experience for families with toddlers. We’ve visited this several times and, overall, it’s a decent place to swim. The main is clean, and there are a few shallow splash‑pools that are perfect for little ones. Unfortunately, there’s a big drawback that every parent should know about. On our first three visits we brought our daughter’s own (a cup, a few soft balls and little watering cans — nothing sharp, heavy or water‑gun‑like). She played quietly and no one objected. On our fourth visit a staff member suddenly told us that all personal are forbidden. We respected the rule and came back toy‑free. That’s when the real problem showed up: while we were in the water, the ran its children’s classes and handed out plenty of colourful balls, floats and foam toys — but only to the class participants. Imagine explaining to a two‑year‑old why every other child in sight has a bright red ball and she isn’t allowed even her own small toy. Our daughter ended up in tears, and the “relaxing” family swim became a stressful hour of consoling her. There’s no rental option, no way to borrow the pool’s toys, and no exception for safe personal toys. Unless you pay for a class, your child just has to watch everyone else having fun. We left exhausted and disappointed, and we’ll think twice before returning. Suggestion to management: either allow safe personal or create a simple rental/loan system. Until then, families with toddlers may want to look elsewhere!
