A magnificent location in the very centre of Braga. I've visited there twice now for the Semibreve Music festival and the building is outstanding. The staff are always super friendly and the sound is perfect. Great views from almost every seat in the house too. My only problem was the toilets which are old fashioned cubicles for men and women on different floors, with only 3 available at a time, so huge queues build up very quickly, so be prepared to wait! From the beginning of the XX century, very well renovated great acoustics! Absolutely stunning theatre. Very well kept and still hosting presentations all year long. If you can snatch a ticket for a play here go ahead and enjoy the view, the theatre is magnificent. The theatre also hosts free exhibitions on its second floor. I was told next tour was in 2 weeks . I did not get a chance to catch a show or have a peek inside. Friendly staff . Teatro Circo is a beautiful 20th-century Portuguese Theatre in Braga. I had the pleasure of watching Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell’s concert there and everything was perfect. The seats are comfortable the restrooms were cleaned, the staff is lovely… Definitely returning for future events. Amazing tour! Rita, our guide, is very knowledgeable.
