We'll definitely be back when we pass through again! We stayed here for one night. This is really a parking for the restaurant, but with very toilets and showers. And washing machines to use. The food in the restaurant is very tasty. We were so full that we couldn't take a desert, but the owners gave us some watermelon that really helped in the summer, and after a big lunch. We walked to the town. It is a longer walk, but easy one. We only, missed some shade on the parking lot. Everything else was great. It's essentially a parking lot, not much more. What is very nice is the people that work here. They are really kind and there's a bar with good drinks. Showers and laundry is included, and you can get fresh water and empty your chemical toilet. There is some noise from the road, but it didn't bother us. From the campsite you can take a taxi to gjirokaster for about 7 euro We stayed at Ora Campsite in Gjirokastër and had a pleasant experience. The campsite is small, clean, and cosy, with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Each pitch is well-equipped with its own electricity, water tap, and drainage system. There are two showers and two toilets available, which were and well-maintained, although not wheelchair accessible. The site also has a bar with air conditioning — a nice spot to relax, especially in the summer heat. We met a few fellow travelers from the Netherlands, Germany, and England, which added to the friendly vibe. A gas station is conveniently located right across the street. The campsite is also close to Gjirokastër’s iconic Old Town, making it easy to explore one of Albania’s top tourist attractions. At €15 per night, it’s great value for money. Very kind management. Safe place. Good biking route to Gjirokaster. Receptionist speaks very good English. Sanitair super clean, good and cheap food. After this summer they will have many places more, also grass. Excellent site, peaceful with a good bar, very friendly staff and local residents. Bright and showers/WC and the club house is a great place to meet and have a laugh. Local beer and restaurants?? Superb The town can be done by cycling ask Luka for suggestions. Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 3 - would have stayed longer but we had to start heading south to Ksamil. We were welcomed by a very friendly host. He gave a quick tour around the property. The campsite had everything water, electricity, showers, washing machine,... The perfect city camping! Well located on the outskirts of Gjidrokastra . A very nice family run place. The mother doesn't speak English, but her son's do. Has everything one needs, including washing machines to hire. Near the main road, so traffic is therefore heard, but not a problem for us. WC's and hot water showers are very clean. They have a Restaurant/Café on site. Food was on the salty side, so best to mention less salt/no salt when ordering food. I definitely recommend this place.
