The colors and clarity rival the best in the world. 1 minute of the 10 degree Celsius water was enough for me walking in. The 1.5 mile walk was enjoyable but they had a train for those in need. The next stop at the Castle was interesting with a lot of stories. Great view of the entire city. Finally, we did the old town which really looks more like a European city with charm and culture. Can get a bite to eat, coffee, a drink, or just shop. Our had a meal already picked out and in the works. We didn't know what to expect, but it included multiple flavors of the region and we all enjoyed the meal. Dennis is the GOAT, me and my girlfriend stayed at ksamil for 5 days back in May. we rented a scooter for 2 days and it was insanely reliable, helmets provided for 2 people! we also rented a with him. the prices are absolutely beautiful and i cannot this enough, thank you Dennis for being so friendly and helpful. We used Book Ksamil to both rent a car for a day, rent a for a day and for taxi service. I think the prices were really descent and both the car and was in good condition. Also all of the staff we met was really friendly and gave good instructions how to use both the car and boat. I felt they also gave good information while renting both the car and so we knew exactly what the price was, what was included and where and when to pick up the car and boat. They also use WhatsApp so we could always communicate with them if something were to go wrong which felt safe. For us it was a perfect way to get to explore more of the surrounding areas. The day we rented the car we drove to Gjirokaster old town and also stopped on the way at the Blue Eye lagoon. And when we rented the we went as close to the Greece border as was allowed - to Tongo Island. The only negative I have was that the cooler we got when renting the was wet inside and smelled like fish so I didn't really feel like putting any food in there. Other than that perfect get-aways! Great and great tour. We learned a lot about the history of Albania and about the area. We had the blue eye and also went to gjirokastër. Toni was a great guide! He speaks great English and has wonderful knowledge. We had wonderful local food in gjirokastër.
