Beautiful waterfalls ,a location ,parking ,rich menu and local food)The view is amazing ))) Ujëvara e Borshit is a distinctive in Borsh, Albania, renowned for its unique integration with a waterfall. Ujëvara e Borshit stands out not just for its culinary offerings but also for its harmonious blend with the environment, making it a must-visit destination in Borsh. The abundance of water makes the place very and atmosphere fresh in the summer heat. They do not allow to sit for a drink in 80% of the place which is a pity especially when the tables are empty and it’s not meal time. The hygiene overall can be improved. I recently visited this hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. While the environment is undeniably scenic with beauty and charming outdoor seating, the overall was far from enjoyable. To begin with, the service was extremely poor. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, taking a very long time to serve even basic items. It felt like we were being ignored, and there was no sense of hospitality or professionalism. The food, which we expected to be fresh and flavorful given the lovely setting, was bland and lacking any real taste. Even the basic dishes were underwhelming and left us unsatisfied. It seemed as though minimal effort had gone into the preparation. The atmosphere had potential – the waterfall nearby was calming, and the setup with wooden gazebos could be quite charming. However, the place seemed poorly maintained. Tables weren’t up to the standard and the presentation of the food and seating area was lacking polish. In short, while the environment is the only redeeming feature, it’s not enough to make up for the bad service and tasteless food. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless major improvements are made. Over price food options Niko was a standout waiter—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely engaging. He shared fascinating stories about both Borsh and his own village, enriching our dining with local context. His recommendations were spot on. The rukola salad was crisp and vibrant, with unexpectedly sweet tomatoes that tasted like summer. The seafood linguine featured fresh, delicately cooked ingredients in a beautifully balanced rosé sauce. The calf steak was expertly seasoned, and the tzatziki was rich, tangy, and full of depth. Our meal ended on a lovely note with a complimentary tray of fresh fruit, all enjoyed to the calming backdrop of gently illuminated waterfalls winding through the restaurant’s setting. I didn't thought that such a place would be located here. It was really a great and I would definitely recommend it 🤍 The place is beautiful, you sit next to a waterfalls and the food is pretty nice. There is crazy amount of bees that just fly into your face and your food. They bring you a plate with some wood dusting that they light up and it creates a smoke that should keep the bees away. But I think bees got used to it, as it didn't stop them at all and just my clothes smell like fire. After you finish with your food, they bring you free fruit platter, which is very nice. The restrooms are disgusting. Really atmosphere. I would definitely go there next time. Lovely area❤️ Absolutely terrible service at Ujavara Restaurant. We stopped here just for some coffee after driving for several hours. We didn’t plan to eat, but we were told we couldn’t sit in the shaded area unless we ordered food despite it being 36 degrees outside. Eventually, they did seat us in the shade, but only after some back and forth. I asked for an extra glass of ice for my coffee, and the waiter questioned why I needed it, saying there was already ice in the glass completely unnecessary and unhelpful. Overall, just really disappointing service for what should have been a simple coffee break. Such a pitty because it’s a beautiful coffee stop.
